Babies car seats safety
In this day and age it is a crying shame that children are stillbeing hurt/killed in car accidents simply because they were not safely restrained using car/booster seats. How often do we have to read those stories in the press where parents excuses are “but we were only going just down the road” or “I thought he/she would be safe as I was holding onto them firmly in my lap”? The simple fact is children are more vulnerable to injuries whilst travelling in a vehicle than adults, also they are too young to realise the dangers for them selves so theparents/gaurdians have a moral and legal responsibility to ensure their safety. Modern babies car seats are relatively cheap, easy to buy and offer children much higher levels of safety than older generation seats, particularly the ISOFIX seats fitted into special anchoring points provided by car manufacturers - there is no reason at all why a child should be tracelling in a car without the correct safety seat fitted!
