Think it is OK to buy your auto parts from an unauthorized source? Let me tell you the story of my best friend, Tony. Tony had installed some new brake pads on his SUV, and tried to save some money by buying them from some fly-by-night supplier that he saw advertising in a magazine. He installed them, but one day as he and the entire family were out for a spin, he was involved in an accident situation, hit his brakes, and they failed! Instead of stopping in time, they rammed another car. His wife was killed, his little daughter suffered a concussion, and he himself is now paralyzed from the waist down. Such a tragedy.
